Chicken Tenders
For our tenders
1 cup pregresso bread crumbs
1/4 cup instant potatoes
1/4 cup parmasean cheese
pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder
1 egg
1/8 cup of water
1/2 cup flour
pack of boneless cut tenders (there were 10 in my package)
mix dry ingredients together in one dish, mix egg and water in another dish. Now normally I would use a flour dredge before dipping in eggs but I was lazy tonight. So cut the tenders in half and begin dipping in egg, then dip and coat in the dry ingredients. Set the tenders aside on a plate and turn your oil on. I honestly never know what the temp is, but it’s hot! When I drop a tender in it starts to sizzle cook about 5-7 minutes make sure they don’t burn. Start with one to test the oil and see how dark they get in case you need to turn down your burner.
Makes approximately 20
