Bee Gees Restaurant in Albertville got the same e-mail. I followed up and she wanted me to put an extra $800 dollars on the order to cover her carrier cost because her carrier didn’t take credit cards. A google search of her e-mail led me to this site, which confirmed my suspicions. Thanks for your post!!
You are very welcome!! I am glad to see someone found it and was able to see it was a scam! I also did a search that took me to lenox cupcakes and I realized it was a bogus order.
Ya they think they are pulling something over our eyes, but we are obviously smart and hit google with email address’s and phone numbers 🙂

My catering company, Cuisine East West in Cincinnati, OH got the same email today…grilled chicken breast and chicken Caesar Salad for 120 for dad’s birthday in May. I responded while I was still out driving and delivering business and got a reply to my response…very sketchy message…the whole thing wreaked of fraud…
They are still at it. Received it and sensed it was wrong. I replied saying have somone else call and they sent another email. That’s when I found your site. You would think that if these “Nigerian” (as of days old in early internet history) scammers could learn proper grammar they migh bilk more people.
We’re a catering company out of Chicago and I just received the same e-mail and found it to be fishy so I searched on line and found this site! Thanks for confirming my suspicions! This person texted me too, what a creep!
