Honey white bread recipe and dinner.

By MzBaker Leave a Comment

Honey white bread

1/2 cup warm water
2 packs yeast
1 tsp sugar
Stir with fingers until mixed and foamy kinda like this
1 1/2 c warm milk
6 tbsp melted but cooled butter
2 tbsp honey
Stir well
2 egg yolks
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
knead and stir with bread dough attachment for a few minutes.
2 more cups AP Flour
knead dough with dough hooks for several more minutes only adding a little flour to keep it from sticking to the dish! Pour dough out on to a floured surface and knead by hand for several minutes, knead until dough is stretchy. Once its all done kneading just place in a butter sprayed dish and spritz top and cover. I love using old ice cream buckets, they are deep and have a lid.

Dump dough out and cut it in half spray loaf pans or use butter to grease them up so bread dont stick.

Let rise for another hour

brush with egg whites

bake @ 350 degrees for roughly 30 minutes or until golden brown
