So my husband is a big fan of burgers and I make him all kinds of them from stuffed, double, huge and sloppy.  It really depends on what I feel like at the moment. lol 🙂
I start by cutting up 3 slices of a big onion and around 5 or 6 mushrooms. Â I put a little butter in pan and heat it up, once it was hot I added the mushrooms and onions and started cooking them.
While the veggies are cooking make the hamburger patties as big as you like!  I sprinkle a few sprinkles of Worcestershire sauce and saute a few more minutes.
Slide the veggies over and put the patties in. Â Let them cook for a little bit and flip them over.
They are just cooking mmmm smells so good!
Top the burgers with a slice of Swiss cheese. Â
The other two burgers are for my son and I we use American cheese.
Then top the cheese with the mushrooms and onions.
Top the mushrooms and onions with one more slice of Swiss  He loves it and always wants two slices of cheese on his burgers, I guess its a man thing.
I use a half a slice on each of the burgers I made for my son and I.
Cook these bad boys for a few minutes so the cheese melts, it doesn’t take too long.
There it’s melting!
They are almost done, I added the extra mushrooms and onions to his burgers.
They are plated and he is impatiently waiting telling me they smell like steak burgers.

He ends up using some A-1 on his mushroom and Swiss burgers.
