Sounds I hear & love to hear at 1:30am

I am sitting here on my laptop in bed, yes I know I should be sleeping.  Yet I am here and I was just finishing up some Alexa Drops, when suddenly I hear it. Hoot, Hooooot Hooot Hooooot HoOoooot Hooooot hoooot hooot hooooot hoot hoooooooooot!

Coming from the big city of Detroit/Warren, Michigan moving to 100% country, rural and in a wild life area.  It is amazing to hear the owls and other bizarre animals I have heard.  Even the Boars in the woods behind our old house.  I was nervous when we would camp out in the yard, we did that often in the spring and fall.

One night the owls were so strange sounding, I woke my husband up.  I honestly thought could someone have let a monkey go? I know, I know far fetch, but really is it.  People (sadly) release exotic animals a lot more than most people realize. Thankfully it was just the owl and another one replying to him, between the two they sounded like a monkey.

I sometimes miss the fast pace of the bigger city, stores are around or at the corner instead of 30 miles away.  It took 5 whole minutes to run to store at our old place in Michigan.  However I could never give up the beauty of country life, the porch around the front of the house, little bright green lizards all over the place, the hummingbirds and butterflies galore.  It had been years like since I was 8 or 9 years old, since I seen butterflies in abundance!  I do love it here!

The owls have quieted and Big Bang Theory is about to go off, I think I need to rest now.  Good Night I shall return tomorrow!!
