This is a simple recipe for 3 thin crust pizzas
Ingredients:
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 c hot water
1 packet of active dry yeast
4 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Put water in a bowl with yeast, sugar and salt give it quick stir and let sit around 5 minutes. Put all other dry ingredients in a good sized mixing bowl and stir them together. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the water/yeast mixture and stir till you have a thick dough you cant stir no more. Dump out on the table and knead around 7 – 8 minutes. cut in to equal sizes and roll as thin as you desire and trim off edges or leave them. top with sauce (1 small can tomato sauce, 1 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp salt,1/2 tsp each marjoram, basil and garlic powder let stand at least an hour after mixing well) and bake for 5 minutes in a 500 degree oven. take out and top with light toppings this is a thin crust! Bake till crust is golden brown it was around 7 to 8 minutes in my oven!
You gotta love when the hub’s comes to help you chop and cut all the stuff that goes on only his pizza lol
He is making my special Pizza Hut Sauce!!
I prefer a slightly thicker crust–but my Mom loves thin crust so this will be sent to her!!
I haven’t thought of seasoning the dough with Italian seasoning. That is a great idea! As usual your food looks very tasty!
That pizza looks incredible! I never thought to add the seasoning in the flour, that makes so much sense to give it that great strong flavor. I’d make mine a deep dish though
However that thin crust is looking mighty yummy right now.
That looks so good. You post the best step by step pics, marie.
