PB & J my way!

By MzBaker 7 Comments

PB & J my way!

Well as a lunch today I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Now my sons are normal PB & J but mine on the other hand are slightly different.  I really enjoy a sweet baby gherkins with it. I not only enjoy it with it, but on it.  I sliced the pickle nice and thin and spread them around on the peanut butter!

Oh my, I don’t think I will be brave enough to change that staple of PB&J. Lol. I only venture out to add bananas!

OMG- my all time favorite sandwich is peanut butter and pickle. Never met anyone who might even try it. Try it without the jelly.

I have to admit I don’t get Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches – is the jelly like our jam or like our jelly? I’m guessing from the photo it’s a type of jam rather than a jelly.

Sorry hope I haven’t confused you as much as I did myself there lol.

It was actually grape jelly that I stir in a little dish until its just like jam then it spreads very easy. I really prefer Jam over Jelly.

Oh dear, I don’t know about that combo. I like me some Jif Smooth and Strawberry Preserves with a Dill Pickle on the side. Oh, and Chocolate Milk.
