Beef & Barley Soup (homemade)

I had a couple of steak bones in the freezer I was saving to make beef and barley soup with.  I started by putting some onions and green peppers in a pan with oil and the bones.  I cooked them till they were nicely cooked and added some water to the pan, not a lot though.  I let this simmer for some time and then added a little more water a few cups.  I let that go on a low boil and it smelled so good! I added a can of mixed vegetables and cut up potatoes, then added the barley and let it cook.

    that looks yummy. makes me drool really. i don’t feel good right now so a cup of your very hot barley soup will make me feel better, that is for sure!
