3 Healthy Lunches!

By MzBaker 3 Comments

3 Healthy Lunches for our Families!

You know there is a lot of fuss over healthy and fast lunches these days.  I’m all for healthy eating especially when it’s good food too!  There are a few amazing ideas from the Women’s Forum for some delicious lunches.   Something that’s been talked about around the net are wraps!  There are all kinds of them but the most healthy looking are the lettuce wraps and the sound delicious too.   I even seen on TV a show called “Not My Mama’s Meals” where they made Philly Steak n Cheese inside of a Lettuce Wrap!!! I found that to be amazing and wanted to try it and I plan on it soon.

There are times when we are so busy in life, but need to stop and eat something fast and the only thing is a fast food restaurant.   You can eat at fast food places but stay away from burgers and fries.  Pick a salad or any green type of options available.  You can choose lean meats too like turkey and chicken sandwiches, opt in for whole wheat bread or if available gluten free.

There are also an endless options available of a Veggie Pasta Salads.  In fact tonight I’ll be making one along with some boneless skinless chicken breasts.  Not sure how I’ll cook it exactly, but I’ll share photos tomorrow.   I plan on taking a bag of frozen veggies, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and a few others I cannot think of and I plan on mixing them in with pasta of some kind.  It probably will not be whole wheat pasta, but I’ll go heavy on the veggies.   I may even mix in the chicken in small strips.  I’m not sure yet exactly how I’ll do it until I’m in there doing it.

If you want to learn more ideas about healthy lunches go here.

Sounds good, im just trying to eat better. I love junk food, but the past few years have been draining. My mom is having some health problems, and that has opened me up to try and take better care of myself. We now live in the same apartment complex, so I can help her with little things like getting her mail and taking her trash out. I just wish she would give up dairy, it bad for her kidneys. Anyway love your meal ideas, also you posted awhile ago homemade frozen burritos, I love that! Have a good night.

I try to sometimes, I’m not a full-time healthy eater. I like food lol I wish I was closer to my mom. I would have liked her to come over with us this morning for breakfast. I have to move closer to her. I love doing the frozen burritos, they are fast and easy to make for lunch or something fast and Thank you!! You have a good night as well 🙂

Nowadays, more and more people are changing their eating habits. They are aware already about healthy foods.
I love vegetable salads. I used to be a vegetarian, but I stopped when I found out that our body needs red meat.
