Patty Melt at the Butterfly

The patty melt is a childhood classic and has a firm place in many of our hearts. The simple act of taking a burger with melted cheese and sandwiching it with onions on toasted bread is a combo made in heaven. At the Butterfly they take 6 ounces of dry aged beef, fried onions and a gooey mix of Swiss and American cheeses and layer it all between crisp slices of rye bread. There’s ketchup and mustard on the side but we doubt you’ll need it once you taste the natural juices and moisture that this top tasting patty melt offers. Oozy and gorgeous.
