Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you took another path in life?

I know I have thought about what it would be like if I took another path in life.  It could be very different or just the same who really knows?  Not me!  When I was a girl I had a love who was my best friends brother.  I was around 12 years old and he was I think 14, I thought I loved him anyways lol you don’t really know what love is at that age, maybe innocent puppy love.  He went on to lead a very different life than mine at least I believe he did.  I later met a guy when I was 15 years old and he was the love of my life, all though the other always lingered.  I seen him often so this is probably why, I ended up staying with this guy when I was 15 and I was allowed to leave state with him and go to Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, to different family members of his.   It only lasted a year, he was a grown man 21 or 22 years old he really was no good!  He is now listed as a registered sex offender and honestly I’m not surprised.   Then I met this guy who was best friends with my sister’s boyfriend when I was almost 17, we stayed together for around 2 years and actually lived in our own place when I was 18 years old.  I lived in that same place till I was around 20 years old and where I met my current husband.  This was back in 1993, I never thought we’d really still be here together after all these years. 

I am thankful that I found him he has been my support over these years, even though he’s drove me crazy and half the time he was the reason I needed the support! LOL but hey that’s life right? Real life nothing is perfect, things go wrong all the time for us.  

Sometimes it seems as though we must have been bad in another life! Then we forget for a while because things are going so good and boom that doesn’t last so long.   We have what we need though and really that’s all that is important!  I wish sometimes I could give my son more, but then you know they are just things!  He’s a good kid though and my one and only sweet boy!  It’s crazy to think it’s really been 20 years, going on 21 already! 

We wouldn’t be a family without our boy.  We were just a married couple and our son completed our family. He’s a special boy with a huge imagination and I love that!  He believes in things a lot of kids wouldn’t today he has that imagination.  He is completely clueless about sex and honestly I love that! He’s 10 and sex isn’t any of his business now!  He hasn’t ever witnessed nothing or really seen anything to explicit! I make that a very serious point in our lives!  I want him to stay that boy and keep his innocents as long as he can!  Some people judge me because of this, but I’m NOT sorry for caring about what my child takes into his curious imaginable mind.  He doesn’t watch them disgusting shows like family guy and/or any of them other fowl cartoons that are on.  They say they aren’t for kids yet they are a cartoon!  By the time he’s around 12 or so I will have a little talk with him about grown ups, but it won’t be detailed.  I mean it’s hard enough explaining the dog humping, but we relate that to mating.  He knows that animals do something to have baby’s, but hasn’t figure out yet that it’s sex.  I have a feeling he’ll be in my room in a minute because it’s storming and yep here he came a big crash of thunder got him up.  It scares him he is afraid the power will go out as it does so often.  I told him just turn on his laptop it wont go off if the power does.  He liked that idea and is back to bed now, until the next big boom.  Well the power went out twice just a minute ago.  He didn’t come back in here, but he does want to sleep in here. 

Most people do wonder about the path they took as life moves forward just always remember everything happens for a reason.  I am not big on the whole god thing, but somewhere something has to be out there.   You can look at your life today and there are things even if it takes you time to think about them, there are those things that make you happy for that moment.  You know it’s the moments you wish would never, ever end! Sometimes they happen often and sometimes they don’t.   I like when they do though.  

Where we live in the summertime it’s really, really hot and in the winter it’s nicer.  It can get cold though and freezing it is in our house. We do not have furnace type of heat in our home, we have a propane heater in our living room.  In our bedrooms we each have a little heater as well as the bathroom.  If it’s cold in the kitchen I just turn on the oven, I mean it’s on when I bake so it’s not hurting nothing.  It’s electric as well.  I would love though if we had furnace heat, that is one thing I miss from living up in Michigan.  We had natural gas heat and electric, where here it’s just electric except the filling of the propane tanks. We have two of them they are the ones you use on a BBQ Grill we fill them probably twice a month if we used them regular.  We don’t though because it’s not always cold and we don’t need them, if it is chilly the little heaters can do the trick!
