Is there really a safe age?
I know we all have different ideas about how old our kids should be before we can leave the home and not take them with you, for a short time. My son wants nothing more than for us to not take him to the grocery store when we do go and this Mama is still a little scared. Now I have left him here for only around 20 – 60 minutes. When I did do this he was on the phone the whole time with my sister being talked to and phone sat. I had to go to store with hubby, I don’t drive and he always gets the wrong thing. Our son just didn’t want to go out, he hates walking around the grocery store. I don’t blame him, I get sick of it too. If they had more stuff that would interest me I’d probably like it more. You cannot expect much from a small town grocery store though.
So it boils down to I was thinking of having an alarm system installed, I’m sure the landlady would be okay with it. No one is close to our home and if we all go out I’d feel even better if our home was fully protected. Some say oh you live in a nice rural area, but that really doesn’t meant squat to me at all! I have no idea who or what.
What do you think of an alarm system, do you think it would be a great idea?
What age (obviously each child is different) do you think is an okay to leave and run to store without taking our son with us?
