Bear Grylls Gerber Survival Knife Review!
I received an awesome little knife from Gerber and I thought isn’t this the same company that makes my husbands other knife too? It is and when I showed him this one he said oh I like nice small and compact for my pocket. He actually has a case on his belt that says Gerber with a nice bigger knife in it.
This little Bear Grylls Gerber Survival Knife came with a Priorities of Survival Pocket Guide, I thought that was a pretty neat little guide. It has lots of things in it like, Protection like clothing, shelter and fire. Also Rescue including location, signaling and navigation. Also Water sources, collection and purification. Food Snares/Traps, knots and scavenging.
The knife features:
- Thin & Lightweight Folding Knife.
- 1/2 Serrated High Carbon Stainless Steel Drop Point Blade – Ideal for edge retention and cutting rope.
- Lock Back – Keeps blade securely in place while maximizing safety during closing.
- Nail nick in blade for easy opening.
- Oversized finger notch in handle to minimize slippage.
- Priorities of Survival – Pocket guide contains Bear’s survival essentials.
Gerber knives are nothing new in our household as I have a rustic outdoorsy husband. He’s always out in the woods behind us and his knives have helped him many times. Once he released a rabbit out there cause it was all twisted in twine. The bunny was insane though and the hubby thought he would wear the bunny’s teeth. Thankfully he didn’t and he was able to release that poor little feller who was just going crazying pulling, pulling, pulling. The break bones doing that type of stuff and don’t realize they are doing more harm to themselves.
But anyways this is a great little knife for his pocket and he was happy because it was a Gerber and that’s all that makes me happy.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
