Big Boss Swirlio Frozen Fruit Dessert Maker!

swirlio

I had the PLEASURE of trying this wonderful product called the Big Boss Swirlio and to my surprise it produced an amazing frozen fruit dessert without using anything but fruit.  I really was skeptical at first because I thought there had to be something else in there to make it look like that, like ice cream pretty much.  Nothing else is needed simply let the frozen fruit rest outside of the freezer for around 15 minutes if its larger cut.  Mine is larger we bought a bag from the grocers it was more affordable for us and is just fine.

The fruit we bought honestly was pretty sour so when this was done it wasn’t very sweet at all.  You do have to like fruit that isn’t really sweet,  next time I’m going to take some of the fruit and cook it down till it’s soft and mushy and like a syrup, oh I’ll add some crystal light sweet tea (sugar free) to the fruit while it cooks down and we should have a decently sweet syrup to pour over it.  We did enjoy this though, my husband loves fruit no matter how sweet or sour they are.  I prefer sweeter fruits the blueberries were the sweetest thing in the the bag of fruit.

All in all this does exactly what it says it does! My son loves it! We are gonna get some fresh fruit and let it ripen really good and dice and freeze and try it again.  I can see this being really good too if we mix apple in there, when we juice apple is what always sweetens the mix.  We are going to have a cool and fruity summer!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This looks like a pretty nice little machine. Looks like it may have been easier if they created it to where the bottom would rotate like a stand mixer does. Would probably make the job easier.

You are the queen of desserts! I love fruity desserts because it’s natural sugar we need and, let’s face it, it’s yummy! LOL

This looks like a very nice and helpful machine. It is healthier to eat this than icecream. I love sweeter fruits too, the blueberries I bought tasted sour, I wish I know how to choose the sweeter ones.

I bought a Big Boss Convection Oven off of NoMoreRack and it is one of my prized appliances in the kitchen. It makes the best chicken wings! So- I had to see what you said about another offering from that Big Boss brand. Looks like it’s also a pleaser. I’ve love to have one! Easier on my love handles than Cold Stone Creamery. =) Blessings~
