Jiva Organics Ground Ginger Review!

I had the pleasure of receiving a product from Jiva Organics for review, initially I was supposed to get Cumin.  But opted in for the Ginger instead.  I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the container, it’s 1 pound.  I wont be running out of Ginger for some time!

Upon opening this container of Ginger the aroma hit me good! It was the best smell of Ginger I have ever smelled.  I make lots of food using Ginger, Chinese and gingerbread cookies being the topmost made in my household.   I also like to take spices like ginger, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg and put them in a pan of simmering water, it makes the home smell so good and very inviting.

The best part of this Ginger is the fact it’s Organic! It’s certified USDA Organic Ginger Powder with NO Additives or Sulphite.   It is a product of India, All natural No artificial preservatives or flavors, no salt, no MSG, No GMO, No ETO treatment, NON-irradiated and none of the bad stuff!  It has a high purity level with an intense aroma and awesome taste!  Like I said this stuff is Great!

My dinner turned out great, you see from the photos I’m taking some ginger, water, julienned carrots and onions and simmering for about half hour on low to infuse the carrots and onions with this unique ginger flavor.   I later added the whole mix into the sauce for the Sweet and Sour Ginger Chicken.   Here are some photos from our delicious meal!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I liked using ginger but I do the fresh one! I used powder too in some purpose… I should keep a jar of ginger. Will check this kind.
