Mothers Day (Late Post)! #LoveMyMom

Mothers Day!

Mothers Day was a lovely day and we had a very nice day and dinner.   I spent the day here at home with my family and my mom stopped by at my request, since she was out already.  It’s so nice to be close enough to have her come stop by like that, I like it! 🙂 I had a little treat for her, I got her a over-sized coffee mug for her from 1800flowers and a bag of Hershey’s Special Dark Kisses.  She loves dark chocolate and who doesn’t love kisses, right?  The cup says love Shannon, well that’s because my first name is Shannon.  I just prefer my middle name Marie, it’s my favorite.  

My mom and myself out in our yard, it was such a beautiful day on Mothers Day this year.  I sat outside for a while on this day, it was perfect out and for some reason the bugs weren’t as bad.  It’s not very often we can just sit out there because how many bees, wasps, hornets, horse flies and mosquitoes are out there.  Some of the horse flies out there are amazingly huge and they hurt so bad!  I wish I had a nice screened tent to hangout in.  It would need a floor though cause the ants are pretty bad too. I would probably put down a tarp on the ground first, then put a screen tent over the top.   Anyways it was nice and I took several photos out there too.  I will share them with you in a small gallery at the end of this post.  So you can see the sky and how vivid it was, I love the sky.  

I also for Mothers day didn’t want to go out really, I preferred to be here with my boys.  Even though they drive me freaking mad! LOL Not really, but sometimes.  My husband was sweet and did all the housework on Mothers Day too, except the dishes as I always do them.
