Cream Cheese Pancakes!
Now I will say that I thought these would be a little bit eggy, but honestly they were so freaking good and simple too! I been playing a little in the High Fat Low Carb area of eating. I have an online friend who has changed her life eating this way! I thought about it and really it makes a lot of sense to me! If you stop and think about the early 1900’s and before people ate what? Eggs, Meat, Dairy and their own vegetables they grew or got somewhere. I cannot look back in books or online and see too many obese people in they way back in the day time.
So if this was a normal diet back then, realistically why shouldn’t it be today? People are so in to the Low Fat, Low Cal, but really if you think about it as long as you’re eating good fats, not the Oreo kind of fats, you can live a healthy life! I know talk is cheap and I have a long way to go myself. I plan on doing this slow to start to get used what is okay and what isn’t, I learned that sweeteners like NuNaturals Stevia are better to use than sugar. I have several awesome items from NuNaturals to begin this new journey of eating the right stuff! Fruit’s are good too, but from what I understand they are still loaded with sugars. Maybe not all are but a lot of them are. It’s okay though I honestly would rather eat meat and cheese!
So for this recipe it’s really super simple!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of NuNaturals Stevia
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Put all ingredients in the blender.
Blend until smooth and bubbly, not too long.
I used a non stick pan and heated it up good, poured around a 1/4 of the mixture in pan let cook around 2 and half minutes and flip cook around a minute or so on other side. Repeat each step for the rest of the mixture.
The end result is a thin pancake that is kinda crepe like, but just fine like this. I didn’t have sugar free syrup, but our next bottle will be! The bottle said a 1/4 cup of syrup was a serving, but I used around a tablespoon, give or take.
You will have a happy camper like this kid right here! He loved them and said they were better than the ones I make normally with flour, eggs, sugar, etc….

Wow, I never knew that you can make pancake out of cream cheese. I only use cream cheese in fruit salad. Will try this sometime, thanks for sharing Marie!

Those look really good. Look like Leo was really enjoying them too. You also have a good point about the way people ate back then compared to now. It’s a crazy world. We just need to eat real food and not all the garbage food that is sold now in grocery stores. Pre-packaged meals are full of sodium and all kinds of garbage not good for us.

You are such a great cook. I haven’t tried cream cheese either on my pancake. I love NuNaturals sweeteners esp the pure liquid, the best for my coffee.
