Tribes-A-Dozen Hallah Bread!

DSCF3703

I received a few boxes of this amazing bread mix from Tribes-A-Dozen, I have to say it’s easy to make and tasty to eat!  This far I have only baked the Traditional and plan on baking another one this weekend.   I received Traditional, Simply Spelt and Wholey Wheat.

One of the best parts of these bread mixes are they are all natural, kosher hallah (challah) and wholesome.  I love natural good for you food!  I made the traditional with the intent of making three smaller sub like loafs. I separated the dough into 3 balls and then broke the 3 balls in to 3 more and I braided them like this below.

The bread rose and I egg washed and added sesame seeds.  I also roasted a pork loin for our sandwiches! It was so good!  This is a bread I really liked and I want to make some french toast with one of the other boxes.

Here is one of the yummy sub sandwiches with homemade bread and pork!

I like that you braid the 3 rolls of dough, that’s really cool however I’d probably mess it up lol. It looks delicious in a sandwich! I eat a salami sandwich for lunch almost every day and I toast the french bread beforehand and it’s incredible so this is something I will try, looks really good.

I did get these and yes I did mess up! (A baker I am not) HOWEVER–even though it came out as rolls and not braided-these mixes make a delicious bread!!
