Crystal Growing Kit!
We had a chance to #discoverwithdrcool and receive a Crystal Growing Kit! My son was super stoked about this, he loves science! We went through everything and it was neat that’s for sure! It came with a beautiful little amethyst crystals. We set up everything and I added the hot water to the packet and he stirred and stirred till it appeared to be dissolved and he dropped the other part in there and we set it where it would be untouched for a few days.
Amazingly the next day we could see little pieces already appeared to be growing, I was flabbergasted to think that fast? WOW! In just three days time they grew to about a fingernail or so long! These are neat for any School or Science Project! We really enjoyed it and my son said they look so pretty like a diamond, are they a diamond mom? I told him honey crystals are similar though and we read from the book to explain a little more.
This is a great project to do with the kids and I fully recommend it to anyone who is thinking about a gift for or just want to get something neat for a kid.
