How to Decorate Your Home for Winter!
Some people think it’s over-the-top to change pictures, photos and other wall hangings to match the season, but even changing a couple can make a big difference in the way your house looks. Take down the picture of colorful summer flowers and put up a more appropriate winter scene.
Wreathes
Wreathes aren’t just for Christmas. Avoid too much holly or gold in January and February. Instead, look for wreathes with pine cones, apples or nuts, or stick with something minimal for your front door. A plain green wreath with a sprinkling of lights is pretty and warms any snowy night.
Decorate Outside
Just because flowers aren’t blooming doesn’t mean the outside of your home can’t be festive and inviting. A wreath on the front door is a good start toward a beautiful home. Look for candle lanterns than can be set up along your walkway, and light the candles whenever you’re expecting company. They are also great for warmer climates where parties head outdoors on the back patio.
