Good Foods & Good Fun at Home Today!

I have been planning for the upcoming weekend, a little get together at the local park in our area.  However the weather has been horrible.  My husband & son’s birthdays aren’t too far apart, so as a tradition every year I plan a day for just the three of us. We were going to go to the park or somewhere just to spend sometime together and enjoy the day with snacks from Walmart and The J.M. Smucker Company! They’re our favorite and Walmart is the #Snackation Destination! So you cannot go wrong there!

So what did we have for snacks on their Lil Birthday #Snackation?

  • Salted Caramel Hazelnut Spread (DELICIOUSLY AMAZING!)
  • Jif To Go Dippers Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread (8 cups of it in each box)
  • Smucker’s Strawberry Jam (Hubby’s Favorite)
  • Chocolate Flavored Hazelnut Uncrustables (Grilled)
  • PB & Grape Spread Uncrustables (Also Grilled)
  • Smucker’s Natural Creamy Peanut Butter (Total Favorite because you can’t get more natural than Peanuts and salt)

What can I do with all of these yummy items? A lot of different ideas, I’m a home chef! So my mind goes a million places.  First thought was to make the Uncrustables like a grilled cheese sandwich.  I didn’t actually butter the Uncrustables, but put a teaspoon of butter in the pan.  I melted it completely before adding one of the Uncrustables moving it around to get butter on it.  Give it a quick flip and do the same thing on the other side, just enough to get butter on that side too. Cook it until it’s nicely toasted looking and flip, continue till you have cooked what you need.

These are amazing Lil sandwiches! Uncrustables are Unbelievable and they loved them! With these delicious Uncrustables we also dipped pretzels and these buttery crackers in the Jif To Go Dippers.  Enjoyed Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Sandwiches, I grilled.

I used the Salted Caramel Hazelnut spread for Icing on a slice of cake.  It was fabulous!

After our delicious snacks we enjoyed some board games and throwing the ball out in the yard.  It was a nice day for a #Snackation for our #Staycation for my two favorite boys #Birthcations!

It’s nice to just get the family together for any reason you can think of really.  Just spend some time together and good snacks are a way to get everyone’s attention! That’s why Walmart is always our #Snackation Destination!

I’m not a big fan of jelly, but way to be creative to give snacks a bit of a kick! It’s always nice to have an old favorite with a surprise variation of something new. My little brothers LOVE Uncrustables — maybe I’ll suggest that they give this a try!!

I’m definitely going to have to try those Uncrustable sandwhiches. The two in my home will probably love them. I’m glad you recommended the Salted Caramel Hazelnut Spread. My partner loves hazelnut spread but I’ve been trying to convince him to try the salted caramenl one. I don’t eat sweets so he doesn’t want to “risk it”, LOL And I didn’t know anyone who has tried it. Now I can tell him I read it from a mom blogger. LOL Thanks and great ideas!

Maybe next time! 🙂 My son loves them! We just had to grab another box of them. You get 4 in each one.
