The Weather Has Been Cooling Down, Finally!

Payments to Electric so far for August!

Payments to Electric so far for August!

I don’t know about where you’re from but here in Southeastern Alabama literally boils here and you could realistically cook an egg on the hood of a car or the concrete.  Our A/C almost runs constantly, it just gets so hot that our Electric Bills with Wiregrass Coop is sometimes almost $300 bucks a month!  I know some people may not think that it’s a lot of money to pay monthly for an Electric bill but for us it’s too much! Now we’re almost back to days where I spend a $5 or $6 bucks or less on our daily usage.  We have a Prepaid Electric and I love that cause we don’t get shut off notices, we have to pay by a certain time every week.  Which is a convenient inconvenience! LOL

Daily Usage for Electric Bill

Daily Usage for Electric Bill

We all know paying bills like the Electric is a necessity, but it’s a costly one! Especially with the temps down here in Alabama.  It sure is Beautiful out though, so what you get is heat, high electric bill and a beautiful country side to look at!

The other Upside to this Prepaid Electric is it’s not like I required a huge deposit or nothing to turn it on! Which I really liked!

I thought it would be the same with our phone (I thought)! $28 super basic phone and the first bill is over $120 and I put a $25 deposit. No one ever told me I had to pay installation, in fact I recorded the whole call for activating our new phone.  I don’t care for CenturyLink they are horrible business people, they’re reps are super slow and stupid. You can talk to 5 different reps about the exact same thing and each one will tell you something totally different! It’s pathetic really! I think that #Centurylink needs to do more investigating of their own CSR’s! Then they’ll see why so many customers are complaining!
