What kind of fun stuff can you come up with when you #RecycleYourPeriodPad? I can think of lots of cool things to do! The cotton inside of the period pads are perfect for stuffing stuff! I thought about all the different things I could make for a craft! One thing for sure is I’m always super sleepy cause once the sunlight comes through the windows it’s over for me as far as sleep is concerned. So I took two of my period pads and nicely made a sleep mask to help keep me asleep a little longer in the early morning! I decided to make one for my husband too!
I used to always use my Period pads for #LBL because after I had my son, I suffered a lot from it. I still do occasionally and so when I go out I really like to make it a point to wear something and it really has to be comfy. I just love the new Poise Thin-Shaped Pads for #LBL! They’re so comfy you can hardly even tell you’re wearing anything. It’s not easy to just blab about this, but I know there are so many other women who suffer with the same issues as myself!

I have been seeing you a lot about recycling period pads these days, I had no idea it as such a trend! Now that I think about it, I agree that there are a lot of other uses for them. I am excited to explore the possibilities! I have a feeling I might get a couple weird looks from my husband, but I believe that added benefits will allow me to ignore the looks. Thanks for the great idea!
You can actually use them in your potting mixes too. There’s stuff mixed in with the cotton that can absorb 7 times its weight in liquid and hold it, and when it comes to plants that’s really great. It also gets air into the soil and stops over watering (to a certain extent). You’d probably need a lot of them, or just one nappy/diaper….but it works really well!
