Yeast Pizza Crust! #LCHF #LowCarb

Yeast Pizza Crust!

Who doesn’t love a good pizza? I know my family sure does and when I can make them a healthy pizza without grains that’s even better! I know a lot of people don’t understand this whole No Grains thing.  You have to understand that we weren’t made as glucose burners, we were made as fat burners.   Over the years and all the products being produces we changed how our system works.  Now we cannot figure out why so many people have type 2 diabetes? It’s because of the foods you eat! Grains, Sugar, Starches, Etc…. I eat whole real foods, NOTHING from a box or pre-made ever!  I had to make these changes! I believe our food pyramid is completely WRONG!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 c Hot Water
  • 1 packet Dry Active Yeast
  • 1 packet Sucralose
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Morning Pep Coconut Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 oz Cheddar, shredded
  • 6 oz Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 c Parmesan

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees, prepare pan with a silicone baking mat or non stick foil.

Start by putting hot water, yeast, salt and sucralose in a dish and whisk up.  Add the coconut flour and it will get thick and pasty.

Let it set for at least 15 minutes it will actually poof up some.  Next place 3 eggs in another bowl and whisk them then add to coconut flour and stir that well, add shredded cheese and stir that. Once you got that mixed stir in the parmesan cheese and mix well. It will be thick. Spread it out almost to edges and then bake for 15 minutes roughly.  Just keep an eye on it.

Once it’s done remove from oven and top with your choice of toppings and then put back in oven on broil for like 5-7 minutes.  Bam Pizza! LOL 🙂

Enjoy!

UPDATE:
Next time I won’t add the yeast, it didn’t do much, but the rest I would do the same.  Remember to still use the hot water and let the coconut flour soak, that way it can absorb the liquid and not be grainy.
