How to really use G+ and benefit from it!

G+ and it’s Benefits!

A lot of people don’t realize the real benefit of using G+ to share their posts.  One of the main reasons is when you share your website posts on your G+ profile they get in to google much faster.  That alone is a huge benefit and we as bloggers know google is where we want to be!  It’s not just another social media platform it’s an asset!

When you Post to G+
There are some neat little tips you can use when posting to G+, like always including a post with a picture, they are preferred much more than just a link drop. A picture can give an idea about the post and peak interest to view the page. Especially if you write an interesting little message with the post.

You can use font features like bold, italic and strikeouts by simple little characters before and after the text. Like this *Bold* _Italic_ and -Strikeout-. By putting your content within the characters they will pretty up your post!

Always share your posts so the world can see them, so keep it public! You want to gain traffic and potential followers!

Try not to email all of your circles each of your posts. That can be annoying and really a waste of time. Your circles will see your posts when they see updates.

Who should you follow?
Make sure to visit the “people” option in the little pop up menu on the left of Google+, they always have suggestions of many people you might know. I would follow some, but keep in mind you can only follow 5000 total profiles. Try to pick interesting people you can build an interesting relationship with.

Google+ Communities!
Another Great Idea! Find communities that interest you and join them, it could be beneficial if you join communities with similar niches as yours.

How you interact on Google+!
This is a big one too work on. If you make a post and your friend G+’s it, Google then sees your post is something of interest since someone has G+’d it! If your friends comment on the G+ post this is now an engaging post! If your name is tagged in a post it adds credibility! G+ is a definite benefit!

Do you have a Google+ Profile or Community?
Feel free to leave your community link and/or profile name in the comments section!
